Residing in Orange County for over half of his life, Eberhardt Law Group founder Chad Eberhardt was thrilled to open an office close to his home in 2015.  For the preceding 15+ years, Mr. Eberhardt sharpened his litigation skills as an associate attorney in Los Angeles, and also as a trial attorney at his own firm in Redondo Beach.  After four years at Equity Law Firm, where Mr. Eberhardt specialized in representing small, Korean-owned businesses, he partnered with a law school classmate, Nigel Villanueva. The pair opened Eberhardt Villanueva, LLP in Redondo Beach.  For nearly a dozen years the duo specialized in criminal defense and personal injury litigation.  During that time Mr. Eberhardt was able to obtain settlements or verdicts in excess of $20 million on behalf of his injured clients.  Additionally, during that span he argued several cases before the Appellate court, conducted over a dozen jury/bench trials, prepared over 100 cases for arbitration and attended over 300 depositions.

Now, at Eberhardt Law Group, Mr. Eberhardt brings his personal, compassionate approach to the Orange County legal community.  In its first year of business, Eberhardt Law Group resolved three, complex, wrongful death cases for families in grief.  In addition, Mr. Eberhardt received a favorable verdict for a wrongfully sued client after a hard fought seven-day, jury trial.  In his eight years as the principal attorney at Eberhardt Law Group, Mr. Eberhardt has obtained siginificant financial compensation for seven families victimized from wrongful death tragedies. 

Mr. Eberhardt prides himself on possessing the knowledge to properly represent a client in almost all civil matters and most criminal matters.  However, with his legions of contacts in the legal profession, if he cannot personally handle your case he will properly forward the matter to a competent member of the California Bar.

Outside of the courtroom, Mr. Eberhardt has been asked to lecture for the San Diego Bar Association and is a repeat lecturer to students in the Sports Business Master's Program at California State University at Long beach.  Besides sharing his knowledge of all things law related, Mr. Eberhardt also spends his free time recruiting, advising and representing professional baseball players.  As a player-agent, Mr. Eberhardt has either negotiated, or assisted in the negotiation, of more than $80,000,000 in baseball salaries, signing bonuses and endorsement deals since obtaining certification by the powerful MLB Player's Association.  With a background in taxation studies, in 1999 Mr. Eberhardt earned a tax specialist certificate from Western State College of Law, each and every client of Eberhardt Law Group will be advised of any existing, or potential, tax issues pertaining to their matter. 

A graduate of Arizona State University, Mr. Eberhardt resides in Rancho Mission Viejo with his wife, Marsha, and their three children, Jake, Chloe and Everlie.  Away from the office, the baseball diamond, or from one of his three Chronic Tacos franchise stores, you can likely find the busy father of three paddle-boarding, golfing or bodysurfing.
